Green Iguana commenced operation in 1999 to provide a broad range of environmental services to private landholders, developers, and all levels of Government agencies.
Over the past 15 years Green Iguana has successfully completed a very broad range of environmental projects. These include environmental impact assessments for development, wildlife surveys, water quality monitoring and management, environmental rehabilitation and remediation planning and implementation, and landscape design for small to large rural and domestic landholdings.
Green Iguana has provided services to a diverse array of clients, including Landcorp, Telstra, Satterley Property Group, Heath Development Company, the Shire of Busselton, the Shire of Augusta-Margaret River, the Western Australian Department of Environment and Conservation (previously the Department of Conservation and Land Management, now the Department of Parks and Wildlife), GeoCatch, Strategen, RPS Koltasz Smith Town Planners, BSD Cardno, Thompson McRobert Edgeloe (TME) Town Planners, ATA Environmental, Coffey Environments, Novacare Pty. Ltd., Ecoscape Consultants, Cape Naturaliste Vineyard, and numerous small to medium private landholders across the southwest of Western Australia.
The Green Iguana landscape designer and ecologist, Sue Elscot, holds a Bachelor of Science (Murdoch University) in Biology, majoring in ecology and environmental science, with training in land and waterway management, permaculture design and sustainable development.
Sue Elscot is a member of the Western Australian Landscape Design Association and the Society for Ecological Restoration International.
